As many of you may have already observed, we have recently rebranded our company. Formerly known as “LifeEar Corporation”, the new “Empower Hearing Solutions” better reflects who we are as a personal sound amplifier (PSAP) company.
While most of our customers who bought a Boost or Active have had their life enhanced with our affordable hearing solutions, we were also busy exploring new opportunities that the smartphone revolution has to offer.
To clearly separate these activities, we have decided to use the LifeEar name for the revolutionary smartphone connected devices while selling the current offering of PSAPs though the Empower brand. Through an exhaustive 9-month effort that included surveying (of which many of you reading were likely part of), Empower Hearing Solutions was born. Throughout the process, many questions were posed by, not only our internal team, but our customers as well. Below are just a couple bullet points to address a few of those inquires:
Why are you rebranding? About a year ago, we teamed up with industry leaders that are looking to revolutionize the hearing aid industry. They have a vision that hearing aids can be simplified in a similar manner as what Spotify has done in the music industry. Combining our vision of making hearing solutions affordable for everyone will be enhanced using this technological approach. We teamed up and started working on making a first product.
The result is the LifeEar CORE product that gives you the ability to personalize and control your hearing aid using a smartphone. Since this product was very different to our current offering we realized we would need a different marketing strategy. After our long effort, we decided that the best way to do this was to rebrand.
Will anything change for me and can I still get my replacement tubes and support? Our ambition to help people hear better will not change. The only thing that has changed is the name. Isn’t Empower Hearing Solutions just another PSAP company like all other online PSAP companies? No. A lot of our competitors just buy foreign hearing products and relabel them just to sell on sites like Amazon. We are actively involved in the designing process and want to make sure you are getting the best product for the best value.
